We are deeply passionate about food at Alpine Bed and Breakfast, and almost everything we serve is handcrafted from scratch. Our main specialty dishes change each day, alternating between sweet and savory options. Our goal is to delight you with fresh combinations, rotating through guest favorites like our rich Green Chili Egg Bake, Pumpkin Bread Pudding, and savory Monte Cristo.
In addition to our daily featured specialty, breakfast options include scrambled local eggs, fresh avocado toast, fresh fruit, and homemade yogurt drizzled with Texas honey, alongside our signature house-made artisanal breads and seasonal jams.
Breakfast is served fresh at 9:00 am. You can choose to dine in our indoor dining room, out on the historic wrap-around porch, or at any of the scenic tables set out across our peaceful lawn. Each room also features its own dedicated table and chairs if you prefer to have your breakfast tray delivered directly to your door.
If you are hitting the trails early to hike Big Bend National Park or explore our neighboring West Texas towns, simply let us know by noon the day before. We will happily prepare a fresh, take-along breakfast package that will be ready and waiting for you before you head out.
Many of our signature dishes, sides, and baked goods are naturally, or can be custom-tailored to be, gluten-free, lactose-free, vegetarian, or vegan. Please give us at least 24 hours’ advance notice so we can seamlessly customize your daily morning menus to accommodate your specific dietary needs. Complimentary fresh fruit, coffee, juices, and cold soft drinks are also available in the common area 24/7.
