When you want to gather your favorite people under one roof for long overdue time together, renting the entire house at Alpine Bed and Breakfast is the perfect choice. Our spacious, nearly 140-year-old historic home sits on a peaceful acre near downtown Alpine, Texas, serving as your personal basecamp for the ultimate Big Bend getaway.
When you reserve the whole house, you get the entire four-room property all to yourselves for up to ten people. Your group will have full use of the secluded Twin Sisters suite with its King bed, comfortable extra-long double sofa bed, private backyard, and personal hot tub. You also get the large Castle Rock King room with its historic fireplaces and clawfoot tub, the sun-drenched Eagle Peak King room, and the historic Chisos King room. Every single room features its own fully private bathroom. While our property is traditionally known as a romantic getaway for couples, a whole-house booking opens the doors to the entire family, and children of all ages are warmly welcome. Please note that our standard whole-house rate covers a base of eight guests, and a ninth or tenth person will incur an additional per-person nightly fee.
Your stay includes our signature handcrafted gourmet breakfast each morning, along with daily housekeeping service available between 10:00 am and 12:00 noon. We are happy to coordinate with you ahead of time to accommodate kid-friendly food options or specific dietary restrictions. Our interior dining room comfortably seats ten people, and the tables out on the back patio can seat nine or more, giving you plenty of spaces to gather together across our historic acre lawn.
To make your time together even more special, we can also provide afternoon snacks, custom celebration cakes, and catered private dinners. Please note that while a whole-house rental does not include guest use of our commercial kitchen for cooking meals, we provide a full-size refrigerator, freezer, and microwave in the common area for storing and heating your own snacks, drinks, and lunches.
Outdoors, your group can relax on our classic wrap-around front porch which seats eight, offering a perfect spot to enjoy morning coffee and watch the local West Texas wildlife visit the yard. You will also have full access to our exceptional communal fire pit area and dual outdoor hot tubs, one in the private Twin Sisters backyard and one right by the main fire pit. When booking the complete house, you automatically save 10% off our individual nightly room rates every day.
