We’re passionate about food at Alpine Bed and Breakfast, and almost everything is made from scratch.
Our main Specialty Dishes change each day, alternating between sweet and savory, and may include Egg Roulade with Mushrooms, Tomatoes & Swiss; Pancake Streusel Bake with Maple Sauce & Banana Slices; Chorizo Frittata with Spinach, Tomatoes & Cheddar; Strawberry Bread Pudding; Ricotta-Filled Crepes with Blueberries & Strawberries; House-Smoked Salmon with Bagel; and so much more. Our goal is to delight guests with new surprises and combinations.
Guests select their breakfast from a menu that, in addition to a Daily Specialty, includes scrambled eggs, homemade yogurt, fresh fruit, avocado slices, avocado toast, and baked apples. And, of course, our signature homemade breads and jams.
Many of our dishes and breads are, or can be, made gluten-free, lactose-free, vegetarian, or vegan. Please give us 24 hours’ notice, so that we can customize your menus.
Breakfast is served at 9:00 am, and you can choose to eat in the dining room, on the wrap-around porch, or at any of the tables set out across the property. Each room also has a table and chairs if you’d rather eat in your room. Just let us know where you are, so we can bring your tray to you!
If you’re leaving early to hike Big Bend or to explore the nearby towns, let us know by noon the day before, so we can prepare a take-along breakfast that will be available before you leave.
In addition to breakfast, there are always fruit, coffee, juice, and cold soft drinks available.
