Castle Rock is our most romantic suite at Alpine Bed and Breakfast. One of our two largest lodging accommodations, it has a southern exposure and windows on three sides to soak up the gorgeous West Texas sun.
Both the bedroom and the bathroom are very large and showcase original fireplaces that now have electric heater inserts with “fireplace ambiance.” However, the bathroom is really where you can see the life of the original house. Carved out of one of the bedrooms, this bathroom has both a large, new walk-in shower and an antique clawfoot soaking tub. The tub faces the fireplace that has the original mantle and Frank Lloyd Wright-style glazed tile that give a glimpse into the history of the house and era.
